Through today’s conversations with 80-year-old Lewis, Porter explores his childhood experiences, his inspiring family and his fateful encounter with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 1957. In addition to interviews with Lewis and his family, Porter’s cinematography includes interviews with political leaders, congressmen and other people who appear significantly in his life.
